Santa Fe orchid fair

As promissed, here are some pictures of the orchid fair held on 13, 14 and 15th of august. Though the size of the fairground was not very impressive, the quality of the plants on display definitely was. It drew many people from all around Panama, as far as Bocas del Torro and Panama City. Needless to say we had a busy weekend.

The main display was in the Santa Fé ‘convention center’. In this palm leaf covered building the orchids where displayed in matching jungle fashion. The lighting was superb for some close-up shots:
